Doctor Strange is the newest Marvel superhero movie, with Academy Award Winner actor Benedict Cumberbatch starring at Doctor Stephen Strange. Dr. Strange is one of the greatest, yet most egotistical neurosurgeons in the world; however, a fatal car accident damages the nerves in his hands making him unable to continue his medical career. Helpless and desperate, Dr. Strange travels to Nepal after hearing rumors of a facility that helps individuals learn and regain their strength through spiritual and mental healing.

Forewarning: this is not your typical superhero film. While there is flying and superhero caps and powers, Doctor Strange is more supernatural and mystical compared to your standard crime fighting superhero film. With that being said though, the film is brilliant. The fact that it is so different than other superhero films makes it much more entertaining and intriguing to watch because you do not know what to expect.

Additionally, the animation in this film is nothing like we have ever seen. Truly, it does take the audience to another dimension; however, there are moments when you may get dizzy while watching the film (you'll understand what I mean once you see the movie).

Although this is not your typical superhero movie, do not disregard it- Doctor Strange is just as action packed and entertaining as any other Marvel superhero movie, but more.
